Participatory, mixed-methods, quintuple-helix.

We pair qualitative study of education spaces with hands-on technology practice. Community and environment join academia, industry and government as equal partners in the research — not subjects of it.

Partner communities help set the questions and the terms, so the findings belong to the people they describe.

How we work

In the open, in one repository.

Code, designs, content and decisions flow through a self-hosted Forgejo — not a private drive and not a commercial platform. The repository is the hub: partners can see the work as it happens, and the history is the record.

This website is built the same way. What you are reading is bootstrapped in public — a small demonstration of the transparency the project argues for.

An open dataset — planned, on the community's terms.

The sensor network will produce an open environmental dataset. Communities hold what their own nodes measure and will decide what is shared beyond them — and whatever is published will be genuinely open, free for anyone to use without asking us. An open API for the published data is planned too. Nothing is published yet; this describes where the work is going.
